Gregory Maynard

Dr. Greg Maynard has two areas he called home while growing up, Alief, Texas (now known as Houston) and Georgia. He attended Texas A&M University in College Station for both an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science and for a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. After graduating as a DVM he worked in private practice in Beaumont, Texas for a year before making Bastrop, Texas home. Dr. Maynard's professional interests include internal medicine and general surgery. He has also volunteered at surrounding community shelter's spay and neuter clinics. He enjoys client education as part of enhancing your pet's lives at home. 
Dr. Maynard has three adult daughters, two of which remain in the Bastrop area, and Bobby the cat who was raised as a bottle baby. In his spare time he enjoys reading, swimming and traveling. He looks forward to meeting you all soon!
